Astrology #7: Saturn – The Planet Of Karma

“Saturn doesn’t make things easy. That’s the role of the taskmaster of the zodiac. Saturn commands us to get to work and to work hard. Discipline and responsibility are important to this planet, yet if we’re eager to conquer the world, that’s okay, too.

Much like Father Time, Saturn implores us to look at the clock (its glyph, after all, is the sickle of Chronos, the God of Time). Is there time for everything we want to do, or are there limits? Those limitations are important to Saturn, and we must learn to manage them. Restrictions are the province of this planet, as is any form of discipline or delay.

In keeping with the passage of time, Saturn governs old age along with the lessons it teaches us. Learning life’s lessons is key to this planet, in keeping with its role as teacher. The majesty of older age also brings with it a certain sense of tradition, conventionality (our learned patterns of behavior) and wisdom, and Saturn is mindful of these characteristics. This planet applauds our perseverance and the fact that we’ve withstood the test of time (yes, time comes up once again). This senior status further brings with it a measure of authority, and Saturn lords over that as well.

Structure, order and the way in which we conduct our affairs are all ruled by this ringed planet. Contraction and the reining in of assets are also important here. Lastly, Saturn, again in its role as teacher, concerns itself with karma and the lessons which past experiences might bring.

It takes Saturn 28-30 years to complete its orbit of the zodiac. It is masculine energy and rules both Capricorn and Aquarius, and the Tenth and Eleventh Houses.”

The Stone People

“The old myths talk about the grandfathers and grandmothers who have been on the Earth well before human beings existed. Some of them may be as old as the earth herself.

These ancient beings are the stone people, which also includes crystals and minerals.

Stones have consciousness and their
own unique experience of life. They have been on Earth for so long and
have witnessed many changes. The
stone kingdom is deeply connected to
the consciousness of Mother Earth. Even though a stone may have been part of something bigger, for instance a large boulder that broke into smaller stones, or a crystal that was cut out from a mountain, the stone people do not lose their awareness of the whole. No matter how many parts they are broken into, they retain the qualities of their original state.

The reason for this retention of awareness is that, in the etheric plane, the crystal or stone is not broken. In the spiritual plane the crystal is still whole. Most of us are not aware of this, but the same thing happens to us. Even if part of our body is removed, due to an operation, in the etheric plane our body remains whole. This is why some people who have had a limb amputated can still feel that the limb is there.

Because of this awareness and longevity the stone people can speak to us about time, perspective, and also wholeness. And through them we can also expand our own awareness and perspectives.”

Poetry #116: Maybe Then You’d Believe Me, Wouldn’t You?

Cutting, jabbing, stabbing

Crumbling bones

Soggy muscles

You look healthy, don’t you?

My health is dire, not wealthy

Maybe if you could see the bruises I feel

Shades of struken teal

Maybe if they were blue, purple and green

If the skin burned off

Then you’d believe me

If the tremors were more violent

If my screams were heard in the silent

If my muscles screamed louder

If you could hear the creaking off my joints

Or the persistent poisoning and pounding of my head

I wish honestly I was dead

I don’t know what is happening

I feel as if I’m dying

If I said any different I’d be lying

Suicide attempts

Jumping off dams

How much more until you understand?

There’s a fog swirling around in my brain

What if I crack and go insane?

If you could see the shooting pains as shooting sparks of light

Would you hold me tight?

In the dead numbness of the nightmarish night?

The whole body is a red glow

It’s invisible and only I know

Pretending to be okay

Questioning if I am fake positivity

The cells in my hippocampus are dying

Starving for dopamine and serotonin

If you touched my hand and swapped bodies

If only for a second

Could you feel how heavy of the weight it carries

If you could see the dreaded melancholy greying the hues of my canvas

And the shaking of my out stretched hands

Lying cold dead on a beach, with a bottle and packets rolling across the sand

If my misery made me waste away and disappear

If you knew how I felt the end is near

If the pain swallowed me whole

And you saw my weary decimating magnetic pulling black hole

If the nightmares and sweats of each night became reality

And I never woke up

Maybe then you’d believe me

Wouldn’t you?

Astrology #5: Mars – The Planet Of Passion

“Mars is the action planet of the zodiac. The ‘Red Planet,’ after all, should be pretty fiery, and Mars does not disappoint. Energy, passion, drive and determination are all right up Mars’s alley. This planet commands you (and yes, Mars does rule the military) to stand up, be noticed and get things done — sitting on the sidelines belongs somewhere else in the heavens. Simply put, Mars speaks to the power and confident expression of the individual.

Ambition and competition are also within Mars’s realm. Whether it’s at work or on the field of play, Mars encourages us to face challenges and to be our best — or better. Aggression is part of the plan here, although Mars also values courage and honor. Assertion and a daring, fearless nature please this planet.

It’s important to note that Mars’s energy can be constructive or destructive. The God of War in ancient times, Mars could be brutally violent. While this energy still emanates from the planet, it also asks us to harness this force for good. Stamina, ambition and achievement are all part of Mars’ mantra.

Mars rules our sexuality and sexual energy, and governs weapons, accidents and surgery (the last two illustrating the yin and yang nature of this planet). In the end, however, the energy of Mars can be quite useful if used properly.

It takes nearly two years for Mars to complete its orbit through the zodiac. It is masculine energy and rules both Aries and Scorpio, and the First and Eighth Houses.”

Poetry By Ace & Amber #7: Dancing In The Trance

I am a tree, alive and free

And now with this warm touch

Human auric fields blending, I aid them as a crutch

Embracing arms around my trunk in times so clutch

Grounding and spreading my underground network

Expanding my leaves even through the murk

Each one of us has our own beautiful quirk

No matter what creatures lurk

Painting the scenery with my artwork

The wind makes me shiver

My branches shake and quiver

Then hits the sun as the ultimate giver

The night pours over but the star’s light leaves a sliver

Shedding what needs to go, as it flows away into this endless river

Sucking up nutrients as they deliver

No concept of appearance or time

Hearing the nature spirits’ chime

There is no prime

For life’s journey is the eternal climb

Energies latch on and if ever there’s slime

Clearing through cells and enzymes

Holding gracefully this wisdom

Beyond the veil, there’s a geometrical prism

Protecting me from society’s system

I lean into my vibrations rhythm

Swaying in this mystical and magical dance

My name is truth and I’m a tree in a trance

~Hugging Trees~

I don’t mind who observes me, I do it for myself. Trees are alive, everything is energy as in quantum physics and I believe that hugging a tree can give beneficial energy.. I have felt better after hugging a tree and asking it to help myself.. It might sound crazy to much of society who have been brainwashed to believe tree huggers are a joke (for a crafted reason of course by the powers that be). For me spirituality is real and the world is alive for the eyes who see..
