Let’s talk about happiness Today..
“State of mind” you will find these words echoing whenever you ask anyone about it. Some will say it is joy that you find once you attain your goals or once you find the people you are seeking. I am still not able to absorb that. I won’t be philosophical but being at this point of my existence, though I might not be experienced enough to conclude that but being so dependent on others remarks and delivering our best to people only to find some recognition should not be the lone source of happiness, which is quite a thing nowadays. That state of mind which gets liberated once you find the words of identification is corrupt one. Liberating ourselves from all the dependencies and formulating our happiness majorly based on our inner self is what will make you achieve that true happiness. Once in a while lending a helping hand without asking for anything in return or having a cup of coffee alone can prove a major source of happiness for moments and all these moments build up your life and the story you are here to deliver. Materializing our happiness is a clear indication of our dependencies. Breaking yourself free of all the things that weigh you down, coming up as survivor all by yourself will boost you inner self and that boost which help you recognise your own self is a source of happiness. Have you found that boost or that inner self yet???

Poetry #71: When The Soul Breaks

Who knew numbness hurt so much?

It even hurt her to be touched

When the soul breaks

It doesn’t make any sound

You don’t even hear it fall to the ground

But an echo of silence

In between walls of emotion

Hangs itself

With a rope of numbness

Her heart was hardened

By so many past hurts

It took being human away from her

She missed being human

And knowing what that means

She aches to feel sad

She aches to feel glad

What are emotions?

What are feelings?

She’s in this space vehicle

Hoping for a miracle

She wasn’t sad anymore

She was numb

And somehow she knew numb was worse.

It feels like a curse

To her, in this universe.

Tips On Self-Acceptance

Welcome fellow souls to « The Human Family Crash Course Series, » a new project collaborated together by empress2inspire.blog and diosraw.com. Together we will be working on a different topic for each crash course; our first topic is focused on « Self Love. » Each topic will have eight posts with posts on Mondays and Thursdays. We hope you enjoy our series and we look forward to knowing how our posts have inspired you!

Together we have struggled with self-acceptance, however we know we are on an eternal journey towards finding our true self; peeling away layers of the onion of self. Self-acceptance comes hand in hand with self-love and here are some tips to help you on your journey towards fully accepting yourself, the beautiful soul that you are.

Self-acceptance is:

-The conscious awareness of your weaknesses and strengths
-Fully accepting who you are without conditions
-The recognition of your talents, capabilities, and worth
-The feeling of satisfaction with your self, regardless of past choices.

Benefits of self-acceptance:

-Positive mood regulation
– A decrease in depressive feelings and the desire to be approved by others, fear of failure, and self-critique
-Positive emotions, sense of freedom, self-worth, autonomy, and self-esteem

Tips:

Speak to your higher self. The inner voice that has compassion, empathy, and love, to others, and to yourself.

Be kind to yourself. Cultivate self-compassion, in not judging yourself, or over-identifying with self-defeating thoughts or behaviour. Make your inner voice your best friend.

Believe in yourself. The path to self-acceptance can be rough, it’s not all sunshine and roses. There will be times that current external circumstances, past experiences, and our programming make it hard or impossible to accept ourselves. Always believe in you!

Forgive yourself. Let go of past regrets and experiences. They are all lessons not mistakes, move on once you have sought the gift from your pain. We do the best with the knowledge we have in a given moment. Forgive yourself.

Celebrate your strengths. And accept your weaknesses or shadow self. Ask yourself some questions. What areas of work do you excel at? What are your unique talents? Making a list of your strengths and past achievements and re-reading them when you are having an off or tough moment is a beautiful way to practise self-acceptance.

Create a network of a support system. Surround yourself with people that accept you how you are, for who you are, have your best interests at heart and believe in you – and avoid those that don’t. Yes, quality and strong relationships are a key to happiness and acceptance of self. You boost eachother.

We’ll leave you with these:

“Embrace the glorious mess that you are.” – Elizabeth Gilbert

“Accept yourself, love yourself and keep moving forward. If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down.” – Roy T. Bennett

Let us know how you are learning to find self-acceptance within yourself below, we hope these tips help.

Tasseography – Tea Leaf Reading

“What Is Tea Leaf Reading?

Reading tea leaves — also called tasseography or tasseomancy — is a fairly modern style of divination (only a few centuries old). It came about in the 1600s, when tea first came to ultra superstitious Britain, and became popular amongst the lower classes as a cleaner, less expensive alternative to reading entrails. The idea is that your energy gets infused into the tea leaves, which can then form themselves into symbols in the cup to send messages. People have used tea leaf reading to divine their future, get advice on a problem, or even forecast the weather.

Tea Leaf Reading Basics
Anyone can enjoy reading their tea leaves; all you need is a teacup, tea, hot water, and your intuition. As you can see from my own tea leaf readings, I like to place my teacup in the middle of a crystal grid and cast a protective circle first, but none of that is strictly necessary.

Steep the Tea
Leave the infusers in the drawer — tasseography won’t work unless the tea leaves are free to float about the cup. That’s right, you’ll be placing the tea directly into the cup and pouring your hot water over it. Put whatever else you want in there: sugar, honey, cream, almond milk. You do you. Don’t worry too much about steeping times since the leaves need to remain in the cup anyway. When the tea is cool enough to drink, go for it.

Drink the Tea
Enjoy drinking your tea, and if there is a specific question you have for the tea leaves, keep it in your mind while drinking; otherwise, the leaves will give you a general divination. The hardest part of this is keeping yourself from accidentally drinking the tea leaves! Keep drinking until you have about a tablespoon of liquid left in the cup.

Turn the Cup
“Turning the cup” is simple that: You swirl the tea, flip the cup upside down on the saucer to drain, then turn the cup around in the saucer three times clockwise.

Read the Leaves
Flip the cup back over, and you’re ready to read the tea leaves.

Reading Tea Leaf Symbols
This is where your intuition and personal style come in to play, because there’s really no right or wrong way to interpret tea leaf reading symbols; it’s actually extremely personal. For instance, some symbols that many people might consider to be bad omens — such as a black cat — I consider to be lucky. Much depends on your perspective as well as the situation you have asked the tea leaves for help with.

Many tea leaf readers will start by dividing the cup into sections representing past, present, and future. I use the bottom of the cup for the past, the middle for the present, and the top for the future, but I’ve seen folks who flip it in the opposite direction — and some who ignore it altogether!

When looking into the cup, you’ll generally encounter four kinds of tea leaf reading symbols:

-Animals
-Mythical Beings
-Objects
-Numbers

The symbols won’t always be distinct. As always, go with what your intuition tells you. I highly recommend using pen and paper to jot down thoughts as they come to you and to record the symbols. (I keep an entire journal for this purpose and enjoy looking back on past readings.)

To interpret, or read, what you see, use a guide on symbology, the internet, and your own personal experiences and gut feelings. If you’re still unclear as to the tea leaves’ message, take some time to meditate on the symbols and the problem at hand. And if that doesn’t help, start over and try reading your tea leaves again! As with any method of divination, a little practice (and learning to trust yourself) goes a long way.”

Poetry #64: A Conversation Between A Mom & Son

“Mom, why do the best people die?”

“When you’re in a garden, which flowers do you pick?”

“The most beautiful ones.”

Not to say that we aren’t all beautiful

We are all kindred spirits

But the souls who are sensitive

Compensative

Intensitive

Sometimes fall

This earthly realm

Is too much to hold in the helm

Of their hearts.

How To Enter The New Year Calmly

Welcome fellow souls to « The Human Family Crash Course Series, » a new project collaborated together by empress2inspire.blog and diosraw.com. Together we will be working on a different topic for each crash course; our first topic is focused on « Self Love. » Each topic will have eight posts with posts on Mondays and Thursdays. We hope you enjoy our series and we look forward to knowing how our posts have inspired you!

What a year 2020 has been full of transformations, confusion and a shift in consciousness!

To welcome in the 2021 New Year calmly here are some suggestions to contemplate:

Reflection. Take some time to reflect on the past year. What has changed within you? What has entered or left your life? What can you work on within yourself? What are you proud of?

Intention. What is your intention for the year ahead? What are you focusing on? Set your intention for the year ahead. I will have a year full of opportunities, love and new experiences for my soul.

Surrender. When we surrender we sync with the flow of life and let go of resistance. This will make you feel more at ease and relaxed. You can’t control everything but you can control who you want and decide to be for the year ahead.

Embrace. Welcome new friends, experiences and possibilities this new year. Be open to all that is coming to you. Everything is a blessing in disguise.

Get Creative. Make some plans for 2021 such as projects that you have always wanted to start; You then have some things in your life to look forward to. What have you been meaning to do all your life that you can start now?

Family and Friends. Spend some time with people who you love and who love you. Make sure you are surrounding yourself with high vibrations and positive energy to boost you into the new year.

Hope. Keep the hope, things will change and this too shall pass. Change is the only constant in this universe.
You are loved. Know that you are loved beyond your comprehension by the intelligence of this universe.

As we leave 2020 behind here are some quotes for us to ponder:

“We will open the book. It’s pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” – Edith Lovejoy Pierce

“What the new year brings to you will depend on a great deal what you bring to the new year.” – Vern McLellan

“Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.” – Brad Paisley

Based on the above, how will you decide to enter the new year calmly?
