Soul Journal 03/02/21 #3: A Letter To A Shaman

《Soul》 Things are the same, if not getting worse. I am loosing my ability to walk due to the fibromyalgia and pharmaceuticals which are destroying my gut-lining and seemingly my body. Everyday is severe torture to move and my body is screaming at me with acid burning pain. I can’t sleep properly, I can’t talk properly (slurring words and not remembering words), I can’t move some days, I can’t walk very well and I might loose that, high anxiety, depression, trauma still lingers through the numbness of the pills, I can’t breathe properly, I have allergic reactions to more foods (I eat potato and a few other things) which is severely depressing, feel nothing, some other painful personal things.. I wish I wasn’t here but I know why, my mission to inspire people through my words is inspiring others, allowing them to be themselves. I don’t feel like I have long left here but I keep laughing and smiling.. that’s all I have left now to keep going. 《Soul》

Poetry By Ace & Amber #4: Emerging Whole

Source is whole

Yet a paradox of ever-changing and evolving soul

Thoughts of every kind taking a stroll

Reading the lines of this universal scroll

Some voices trying to be my troll

Swimming through dualities of the cosmic magnetic pole

Always reaching for new heights

High expectations are in the realm of human sights

Illuminationing the spark of all my lights

Don’t waste your nights

Thinking about tormenting frights

And ruminating about other people’s highlights

Mandalas made out of vibrant sand

Monks wipe away the whole with the swipe of a hand

And symbolizing the transient journey our soul’s have planned

This connection to heart is oh so grand

Bringing us home to the free land

We see and feel the intuitions song

Travelling on it’s lyrics back to where we belong

Realizing the illusion of right and wrong

Sometimes we have to let go of being headstrong

Let’s feel this rippling effect of the gong

Beautiful versions of brokenness prolong.

Symbols #14: Cairns

Hope For The Journey Ahead

Cairns are simple rock formations, used as landmarks to guide travelers along a path or to mark a sacred place. Cairns are some of the most universal manmade structures, and the practice of making cairns goes back thousands of years. From the Arctic territories of the Inuit to temples in Korea, cairns have been spotted all over the world.

Cairns have evolved as symbols of friendship, safety, and direction. They offer guidance for those wandering life’s path. To stumble upon a cairn is to know that you aren’t alone, that someone has traversed the same terrain you now find yourself on. In this way, cairns remind us to never give up, that the journey is yours to make as long as you keep traveling.

Poetry By Ace & Amber #2: Home

What’s this burning feeling inside

Where does the seat of your soul reside?

Letting this feeling be my guide

This cosmic journey takes me on a ride

That aching within that’s always cried

You can search any far away land

Across mountains, rivers and deserts, oh so grand

You can change your resting place

But that something in your core you’ll always face

Dreaming of the past

Where this feeling didn’t last

Longing for a new role in this cast

Or just a change of scenery

It’s all I asked

Then I heard the voice

Telling my it’s my choice

In this realization, I rejoice

It was hidden in plain sight all along

Now I hear the universal song

It was never external, what’s internal always made me strong

My inner fire was always peeking

Now it’s speaking

Are you the answer you are seeking?

Amber & Raffaello’s Self-Empowerment Series: The Hero’s Journey

Welcome to Raffaello’s raffaellopalandri.wordpress.com and Amber’s diosraw.com collaboration project called “The Self Empowerment Series.”

Together we will provide you with the tools through words on how to empower yourself and face the world in your own divine sovereignty.

Today we will take you through the concept of the “Hero’s Journey”, a term coined by Joseph Campbell who was an American professor of literature at Sarah Lawrence College who worked in comparative mythology and comparative religion. His work covers many aspects of the human experience.

The Hero’s Journey is a quest for self-transformation, for creative rebirth. We go out and seek, so that we can discover that the seeker is itself the mystery which the seeker seeks to know.

The storyline that Campbell describes in his “Hero with a 1000 Faces” book is this:

“A hero ventures forth from the world of the common day into a region of supernatural wonder; fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won; the hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow man.”

1. Seperation

We experience a call to action.. Something shakes up our ordinary world. It could be: divorce, illness, moving to another country, the birth of a child or death of a parent. Some form of crisis or suffering or existential crisis impels us to go out of our comfort zone. Our journey begins. Some people refuse this call and their life stagnates. But for those of us that answer the call, our life will not be the same.

At this point, the universe guides us. We meet a mentor who helps to guide us. We read the right book or a dream inspires us. Our higher self is supporting us, and the universe will protect us as we become willing to take the leap into the unknown.

“We cross the threshold into unfamiliar territory, and there is no looking back.”

Our ego and our fear have loosened its grip upon us enough so that we are already leaving behind who we were and opening up to what awaits.

2. Initiation

At this point more allies join us or we acquire skills or develop aspects of ourselves previously ignored. We then face monsters with these new found skills and allies

“We are tested. This is a dark night of the soul.”

We must acknowledge our worst fears and use all of our skills and wisdom to overcome the challenge. Sometimes we are victorious. Sometimes we are not.

3. Return

If we survive the initiation, our journey is not concluding yet. We must integrate what we have learnt.

“We cross back over the threshold, different, with more awareness, with something to offer those around us.”

Maybe it’s the story that we bring back that is the biggest gift. Or maybe we now are called to teach others the skills we acquired. We press play on our lives in an upgraded form.

Our inner demons – the feeling that we can never be enough, that we constantly have to do and achieve in order to be worthy – are disconnecting us from our authentic selves. And it is by listening to our bodies, and finding community amongst other seekers, that we can be reborn as whole and healed..

We hope you enjoyed learning about The Hero’s Journey, let us know what you think below!

Spirituality #3: Soul Mates

“So what is a soul mate? In my experience, this is what really defines a soul mate:

-Soul mates are your best friends. They’re also your romantic and sexual partners. (You can also have very deep connections with friends, family members and animals – I refer to these as soul friends – but other people also refer to them as soul mates).

-Soul mates are your mirrors. They reflect back to you your own flaws, insecurities, dreams and strengths to help you grow to the fullest. You can rely on them to be honest with you, completely honest, even to the point of not sparing your feelings because they care about you that much.

-Soul mates are your spiritual catalysts. They don’t complete you, but they do help you to become the best version of yourself possible. Why don’t they complete you? Because you are already complete at your core, and throughout the course of your life you are in the process of rediscovering that.

-Soul mates are your confidants and teachers. Sometimes the lessons they teach are intentional, but often the lessons they teach are unintentional and are a by-product of your relationship with them. Because they understand you so deeply, soul mates also make powerful confidants, helping you through tough times and inspiring you to do and be your very best.

-Soul mates feel very “familiar.” This is possibly because you have spent many past lives with them. Something between the two of you just clicks, as though you have been friends and lovers forever.

-Soul mates often know you better than you know yourself. Therefore, they can empathize with you at a core level.

-Soul mates vibrate at the same frequency as you. This is just a fancy way of saying that soul mates not only share your likes, tastes and goals, but they also share your deeper life values, beliefs and dreams. You both “get” each other on a DNA level.

-Soul mates love you unconditionally. You also love them unconditionally. Although it may not be possible for soul mates to always stay together, it is impossible for soul mates to harbor feelings of hatred for each other for long periods of time. Despite what they do, you still love them, and they still love you.

-Soul mates aren’t perfect. They have their annoying flaws, gross habits and strange quirks, but they are still amazing people deep down.

-Soul mates aren’t always immediately recognizable. Love at first sight isn’t a myth, but it also isn’t the only way you can discover who your soul mate is. Often soul mates appear in various “disguises” in our lives.

-Soul mates don’t always stay with you for a lifetime. This is an extremely harmful myth that I’d love to squash once and for all! Soul mates don’t always stay until the end, but this is not a bad thing. We like to think that our lovers will be there forever because it is a comforting and sentimental thought. But sometimes life has different plans for us. Unfortunately the destruction of this ideal has wrought untold amounts of misery in people’s lives that I have witnessed firsthand. Sometimes soul mates are there for only a season, and sometimes they are there for a lifetime. But whatever the case, enjoy the ride.

-There is the possibility to find multiple soul mates – although most people only tend to find one person who they are deeply compatible with. I personally have never had more than one soul mate/twin flame, so I can’t speak from experience. But I have known other people who have claimed to have had multiple profound relationships.”

Poetry By Ace & Amber #1: Spirit Conversation

Listening to your soul, what do you hear?

All paths lead home my dear

What is happening in this universal sphere?

Frequencies of love so near

Lost in the dark is the fear

Returning to the dream

We are travelling through the soul stream

All playing a part in each other’s journey

You are me,

I am you

We’ll both pull through

Thoughts of the earthly realm just flew

Distractions came, but we grew

Ascension is within

We are rising with our fellow kin

Letting go of the game outside

Creating your reality inside

Tapping into your hearts light

Overcoming this inner fight

Rejoicing in synchronicitic delight

Sedona, Arizona, U.S.A

This post was inspired by my dear friend Ace: http://fearlessfreesoul.com

“Sedona is known as a spiritual mecca and global metaphysical epicenter. Talented healers, intuitive healers, artists and spiritual guides flock to Sedona. to assist in those seeking spiritual enlightenment. Take a trip to Mother Nature’s red-rock oasis and experience their life-transforming, soul-nourishing, awe-inspiring work in person. Sedona is a place you can go to for spiritual and personal enrichment of the mind, body and soul. From healing yoga studios, Myofascial Release practitioners, spas and salons to hypnotherapy and retreats, Sedona always has something to offer to the seeker of spiritual growth & pure enlightenment. The Sedona Metaphysical Spiritual Association is a great resource for learning about the spiritual and metaphysical side of Sedona.

What Makes Sedona So Special?
The majestic red rocks and lush, evergreen vegetation are two reasons for the unique energy of Sedona and its tangible regenerative and inspirational effects. The red-orange color of the rock is one of the most neuro stimulating of colors. It enhances creative thinking and problem solving. Because Sedona is framed year round by green, visitors are also bathed in sense of hope and renewal, regardless of the season. The spectacular trails and overlooks provide numerous opportunities for prayer, and contemplation. Sedona is also internationally known for the uplifting power of its Vortex meditation sites. Two aspects of those sites make Sedona truly special. First, within a very small geographical radius, you can easily access all the different types of vortexes (upflow/masculine/electric, inflow/feminine/magnetic, or combination /electromagnetic, etc.) Second, the Vortex sites are interwoven with the real world of a growing city. As a result, seekers have experiences in how to live their spirituality as they go through their daily lives. Rather than having to escape from civilization to find peace, visitors discover that Sedona’s splendor gives them insights for how to create an inner harmony they can maintain once at home.

Spiritual Healing
Sedona is a mecca for alternative healers, like the 10 practitioners who are part of Sacred Sedona Now. Living this close to the beauty of the land has inspired many profoundly holistic approaches to health. Our body temples are complex multi-dimensional organisms, and Sedona healers apply their gifts to every level of the human body/mind/spirit spectrum. You will benefit from their intuitive skills and compassionate touch as well as their intellectual training and hands-on experience. So, whether you’re currently troubled with health issues, or simply seeking more wellness, pleasure and balance in your life, a visit to one of these dedicated practitioners in Sedona could open up a whole new world for you. Sedona’s healers come from vast cultural backgrounds and traditions, from Native American to Eastern (Tibetan, East Indian, Oriental Medicine) to those with more Western medical backgrounds. The city’s bodyworkers range from structural integrators, chiropractors and deep tissue massage therapists who manipulate the physical structure of the body, to Reiki, acupuncture and other energy healing modalities. On the spiritual side, many of our Unity Chaplains are highly skilled in prayer healing and spiritual counseling services. At Unity of Sedona, for example, Chaplain Prayer Circles on the second Saturday of each month, provide an opportunity for those to experience the power of prayer by sitting in the center of a vortex as well as a drum circle for healing.

The Spirit of the Land

The natural beauty of Sedona is extraordinary from any perspective, but the closer you get, the deeper your experience will be. Special Sedona guides can transport you through the physical landscape and into the heart of the wild. Let the spirits of the land speak to you. Native Americans sharing their tribal wisdom, showing us how to live in harmony with the earth and all our relations. Some of the most profound spiritual experiences in Sedona are to be found out on the land. One example of divine spiritual counseling is Shamanic Healing with Anahata. She dives deep into inner exploration and soul expansion with high-performance coaching, group retreats, specialized healing sessions, private retreats and online education to support your personal intentions. Whether you are seeking core healing, spiritual awakening or soul guidance one can find that support in Sedona via many different types of healers that utilize the healing spirit of the land. Furthermore, many drug addicts and alcoholics come to Sedona to try and get sober because of the intense healing powers of the Red Rocks and Vortexes.

Sedona Vortexes Made Simple
Sedona Vortex sites are popular tourist attractions. What are these Sedona vortexes? Vortex sites are enhanced energy locations that facilitate prayer, meditation, mind/body healing, and exploring your relationship with your Soul and the divine. They are neither electric nor magnetic (although these words are often used to describe the vortexes, along with the other nomenclature such as masculine or feminine sites). The explanation for vortexes lies more at the boundaries of known science, rather than in electromagnetic descriptions. Also, many people struggling with addiction come to Sedona and visit vortexes for their healing modalities in the Arizona recovery space.

On a PBS program Nova, featured a breakthrough in physics called “String Theory” that is revolutionizing all of science on the same order of magnitude that Einstein’s discoveries did in the early 1900s. The key spiritual implications of super-strings is that the world’s top scientists agree that all things exist in a minimum of 10 or more dimensions. Simply stated, Vortex sites are locations having energy flows in those deeper dimensions that the Soul can soar on.

Upflow Vortexes, also called electric or masculine sites, have energy flows that help you soar to higher spiritual perspectives both for males and females alike. They enhance prayers or meditations for blending with the Universe, feeling one with the divine, or facing a problem from a Soul level. Inflow Vortexes (also called magnetic or feminine), have energy flows that help you go inward. In them you will be more successful with meditations or prayers about your life purposes or how to heal hurts in your past. There are also Combination Vortexes that have aspects of both energies. These allow the seeker to experience more advanced or in-depth spiritual skills and meditations.

A wide variety of lectures, texts, and guides are available through Sedona Monthly’s website as well as Spiritual Centers in Sedona to assist you in experiencing the power of Sedona’s Vortex sites. Give yourself the gift of tapping into Sedona’s vast potential for spiritual renewal, enlightenment & advancement.”
