According to various studies I’ve see, most people place a higher value on security than on privacy. Among 120 million households, the number of requests is surprisingly small. What we don’t know is the profile of the targets of the request. We know now that some people use social media to advocate violence, while some use it for various financial scams, and very few people are going to have a problem targeting those groups for observation.
