Poetry #100: Buried Smile

Everyone has a smile with a secret hidden under the surface

I know your hurting

Life at this time is disconcerting

Buried underneath those fears and pains

That beautiful smile of yours still remains

I long for yours to return to your god given face

That young curious boy inside can resurface

Your glassy blue eyes glinting in the reflected sun light

The energy and love whilst smoking at midnight

Your smile uplifts our love and energy

Making love in raunchy synergy

I miss your smile when we first met

Lying in the grass as most movies set

I long to see your lips curve up making love

Gazing into mine with intensity

Burning up inside of me

Hoping you find a way to set yourself free

I long for the day it returns to you

And the depression you feel dissipates

To reactivate

And lift the weight

Because I miss you

Yes I do.
